Champagne Guy Charlemagne Brut Classic is the only cuvée of the house that doesn’t come from the Cote des Blancs, but rather from their vineyards in Sézanne. Nonetheless, this is a wonderful Champagne that benefits from the same skill and dedication as the other cuvées do.
The wine shows a steady stream of delicate and fine bubbles. The bouquet is powerful with yellow flowers dominating and ripe summer fruits such as cherry or plum too. Smooth on the palate with pear and ripe citrus notes together with hints of mandarin. It is surprisingly long in flavour with a perfect balance of acidity and flavour. All in all this is a majestic Champagne, a wine of great balance and breeding.
